Ok so I have been searching everywhere. Everything I look at is for a fmic installed. So I've got completely stock s14 swap in my s13 hatch smic included. It does have s13 smic hotpipe though. So I do want a bov because I like the sound, if you think that's dumb good on you. So I'm looking at a greddy fv. Would it be best just to buy the pipe with the flange welded on it or the whole hot pipe with the flange. Or should I just get the adapter and mount it in the stock recirc location? I just haven't seen any good pictures or write ups on this with the smic set up. And no I don't wants fmic yet.

Many FMIC setups retain the stock hot pipe so it's the same thing. It doesn't matter if you just replace the short pipe or get a one piece hot pipe. That's on you and how much you want to spend. I personally used a one piece hot pipe. Fewer connections means fewer potential issues.

Thanks. Any advice on what size the plugs are to plug the hole in the intake tube. I'm thinking about just mounting the bov in the recirc stock location using the stock cold pipe hose.

I don't remember. You're best bet is to just measure it, then order a proper plug like the link below.

You could do it that way but if you go FMIC, depending on the kit, you'll lose most of that piping. You can't go wrong on the hot pipe.
