Need help with Automatic transmission problem

Alright well just bought a 240sx with auto transmission but the problem is that the car will not move. The guy said the car ran and everything but then his mechanic friend started f*** around with it and now it wont move at all. Any one know why this would happen? like any plugs u can take off that would cause it not to move? like it wont move at all. reverse or forward or anything at all

Open the hood check trans fluid level and look at your passenger side fuse box and make sure all three plugs on the left side parallel to the firewall are plugged in. Make sure the shifter is connected to the trans. Then I guess the box that controls the trans might be F'd or your trans is.

So it starts but doesn't drive?

Yeah the car turns on fine and everything. they said it ran before and they his friends started messing with it and then it wont drive any more.. like its go in and like nothing dont move at all. i starts everything sounds find. no wierd sounds from the transmission or motor

Drop the pan and see if it has a ton of metal on the magnet.

hahah i know and no its all good i found the problem lol i need a transmission but it was not moving any were because idk how but it sheered off all of the torque converter bolts lol
