I tried a search. I just did a trans fluid flush. How many quarts do I fill back? I did 2 1/2 quarts of ATF. I own a 2002 Infiniti QX4. I did a search and saw some things like 10 quarts!!?? Please help me quick!!

read the manual on how to check the transmission fluid, follow the directions and everything will be clear as "mudd"

I did, but you know how you fill the ATF in through the dip stick, I guess there is still some ATF in the tube, so it kinda gets all over the dip stick while I am putting it back in, thus giving me an inaccurate reading. Should I just wait a while before checking again to let all the ATF thats on the side of the tube settle into the transmission? On a normal drain a refill, how much do you guys put back in?

Did you do a mechanical fluid exchange. or just a drain and fill?

If you didn't do the exchange with a filter, gasket replacement and pan clean, you didn't accomplish much.

I understand that it may not have accomplished much, but all that aside, I just want to make sure there is adequate fluid as to not burn up the trans. Any input on how much to put back in a standard drain and refill?

Yes, you replace the exact amount you drained, then measure per FSM or OM.
