Ok so i swapped my s13 with an s13 blacktop and i thought my alternator wasn't working so i took it out and put an kade one in. I turned it on and still wasn't working. I tested the volts at the battery and it was 11.9 and going down. I checked the fuse and it was fine. But i took it out while it was running and it didn't effect anything the alternator has all 3 plugs in. Does anyone know what this could be?I really cant figure out where i might be missing something. Thanks

i had a similar problem with my toyota pickup. idk what wire it was but there was a wire, that was bad and i rerouted by splicing it and running it into the cab, into the fuse box.

What are you getting for voltage right at the positive terminal on the alternator that goes to your battery?
