need help with a vg30de conversiom
hey im new to this site and i was wonderin if i could put a vg30de in a 99 altima could somebody plz hlp me dont have much more time b4 i start school and wann get it done quick

like what i got a free motor tht was sittin in a 92 maxima se with a wrecked body/bentframe/norearshox/etc trans is good i put alittle money in the motor custom mounts and thats 1 bad altima

You're on a college budget, what do you need "1 bad altima" for? good point but i like the i dea of a 6cylinder in my alti tho and im tired of the ka but nobody wants my car tryd to sell it and then i got motor and an idea

Just wanted to point out that the Max SE would have had a VE30DE, not a VG30DE. Max had VG30E (SOHC), Z and J got the VG30DE.Max SE had the VE30DE, which is basically a compact redesign of the VG30DE designed specifically to fit in the Maxima's compact engine bay. The VE was only used for 4 years in that one trim level of the one model...nowhere else.
