Need help with a different type of swap.

I haven't posted here in a bit, I was planning to do the s14 rb26 swap.Since I started posting I bought the rb26. I got a good s14 and I started to rebuild the rb26. well, in the middle of rebuilding my rb26 I did some research and got some contacts and government information about importing a skyline (please no comments about it). So, now I obviously want to use my 1991 rb26, But I'm looking at a 1996 gtr chassis. How easy is it to convert the older rb26 motor to the newer chassis. I've read that the ECU connectors were different in size and color. what other issues will I run into. I plain to use my 1991 motor,transmission and ecu. (until I can get a newer transmission or standalone)
