I've had a heck of a time getting reasonably priced rear struts for my 1994 Q45t. I've ordered the Tokico Blues HU2892's I don't know how many times from so many places only to have them tell me that they can't get them anymore and then it take me a week to get my money back. I finally have a order for some that supposedly have been shipped from Japan on the 15th but wont be here until mid Feb. I emailed the guy yesterday and asked if he's heard if they have been shipped yet. No answer yet. :-/ So I'm back on the hunt because I'm afraid that I'll hear that they have been delayed again. (I ordered them in mid November) I see that Monroe has a set of shocks (part number 71537) for the rear but they list it as only being for the 90-93 years. Here's my question. Has anyone had any experience with putting rear struts that were meant for a 90-93 on a 94-96 model? Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nissan still specifies different part numbers for each vehicle, so I'm going to guess that there is a difference beyond one being softer than the other. I seem to recall some mention of the rears being physically the same, but I'm not sure on that. If you could find a parts store that has both in stock, maybe they'd let you compare?

Thanks for the info. I might just order the Monroe's from a brick and mortar so I can return them easily it they won't work. But please. If anyone else has any info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
