Need help!!!! Whats this part called? cooling system

whats this fitting called and would i be able to order a new one? located under the manifold. would i have to search pick a parts?
there is a hole on the other side of the pic. it seams like it lets coolent thru the manifold? is this true? please help

Its called a coolant union. I had to replace the one in my 82.

I believe its a 22mm. I had to take the right front wheel off, fender liner, and cut one side of the pipes off to get the socket to fit well enough to take it out.

I had to get it from Nissan. I think its was 20-30 bucks. Took about a week to come in.

was able to save 10 by ordering it thru the nissan dealer with is literally 2 min from my house!

any tips to getting this thing off? what a pain in the a** haha doesnt want to budge at all!

Like I was telling you, I had to cut off one side of the 'arms' and get to it from the fender. It took me about two hours of fighting it. If it wasnt attached to the manifold I would have just Hulked it off.
