Hey whats up guys. To give you a little background, I have an s13 hatchback w/ a sr20det swap and a 5 speed conversion. I just got my Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer in the mail and installed it this weekend. Installation was easy, I had the correct harness for my s13. Well the turbo timer works great, but the ignition won't release my key until after the turbo timers cut off. I'm assuming it has to have something to do with the fact that the car used to be automatic, but i'm not sure. Does anyone know if theres someway I can just disconnect the key release so it doesn't stick, or does anyone know what I need to do in order for the key to release? I'd be ever so .

wait are you just talking about taking the key out of the ignition?

if your talking about having problems taking the key out theres just a button you press when the keys full turned towards you.

Yeah, it wasn't allowing me to push the button in to get the key out. I did some searching on here and other forums and found that there's a red switch behind the button, under the console cover. When you turn the car on the switch moves down and when the car turns off, it moves back up. Well if you jam it up, then you can get your key out without any problem. That's how I fixed it.

thats exactly what i did to mine. one of the problems that the car had before i bought her. got the guy to knock off 200$ off the price, paid the guy then pulled the key out! he was pretty impressed about it.
