Apologies for parachuting into your forums, but I'm currently visiting Australia (east coast) from Vancouver, Canada, and my wife and I rented a Nissan Tiida (Versa for North American folks), and somewhere along the way, a hubcap fell off. I've phoned the local Nissan dealership, and they want $180AUD for a replacement! Local wreckers have also come up empty.

Does anyone here have any suggestions for where I can find one? (discount websites, private classifieds, etc) I'm willing to consider any option that costs less than the dealer quote, including FedExing one from overseas, if necessary. I'm not sure if the hubcaps for the Tiida are the same as the Versa ones elsewhere.

The car is an '07 Nissan Tiida; the hubcaps are the OEM 15" ones, which have a Nissan logo in the center. I can post pics later, if necessary.

Thanks!

It's either that, or pay for the replacement cost + some admin charge. It will be less than the insurance deductible, and even in hindsight, the optional insurance wouldn't have saved us any money.
