OK, did a seach, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for...got plenty of other good info though.
Here's my setup:Greddy Turbo KitRC 750cc injectorsZ32 MAFgeneric FPRSAFC IIEnthalpy ECU tuned for current setupGreddy Boost ControllerGreddy BOV
Car runs OK, pulled 350whp at the dyno tune I had done. I'm having problems with cold starts, idle, running rich, and backfires. The SAFC is setup for Dec Air settings, so I'm running a little rich in between shifts, but it's manageable and the car never dies there. The problem is daily driving at low throttle. Here are the readings I see on the AEM Wideband I installed.- Hard on the throttle and in boost, the AFR's are in the 11-12 range.- Crusing, the AFR's are in the 14-15 range...no boost- When I'm cruising around and varying the throttle, the AFR's jump all over the place, from 10 to 17. This happens when I blip the throttle too. the AFR's never seem constant, the just jump everywhere. The only time they stay constant is when I get on the throttle. Is this normal for the AFR gauge to do this.
The spark plugs look good, not fouled anymore or crisp from detonation. Looks like normal wear on the plugs. I installed new ones last night and gapped them .28. The old plugs were gapped .32, but the car runs the same.
I'm thinking the injectors are too big and just dump fuel whenever I hit the gas pedal. I'd like to get smaller injectors like 550cc or 650cc. I can use the SAFC to tune them in for my current setup. Also, I'm getting about 16mpg for the past two tanks of gas. I don't get on the boost very often, excpet when pasing honda civics.
What do you guys think. New injectors?New FPR?????
