If you're tired of stock power and intake isn't going to help. It does add hp, but nothing that will "wow" you over the stock.

...

I have Fujita on mine. Nismo won't void your waranty. AEM, Injen are all pretty good too.

I guess it depends if you're going SRI or CAI, something to look at in a CAI is if it comes with a bypass incase of hydrolock. Some have heat shields, some don't, it's arguable if it's really effective or not. As for quality you can't go wrong with any brand that I've mentioned.

If you are interested in NISMO they are on sell thru March 31. NISMO claims 5.5 hp to the rear wheels. Not a whole lot, but customers tell me they have better throttle response too.

The Nismo CAI is $208 at the Nismoshop. Can't go wrong with NISMO.

I'm rockin' the Injen CAI. No bypass, and puts the filter infront of the radiator (most are behind the radiator (Nismo). I don't get my car out if the road is wet, so i am not worried about getting a bypass on it. If this is your concern in a cold air intake then something behind the radiator should suite you. The plastic skid plate (under your car) should keep excessive water from splashing into your pipe, and a bypass shouldn't be needed. Injen CAI = $265 most places online, 7+whp increase.

For other intake mods you could look into a throttle body spacer, and plenum or plenum spacer.

Kinetix V+ Plenum 14+whp increase, 3 pounds weight reduction $300...Helux Throttle Body spacer, weighs less than 1lbs. 8+whp, $80-$90...

For $600 you can really wake that car up, and you can ad them as you get them, all bolt on, no tuning required.

i installed the Nismo intake on my '04 and the twin Nismo intake on my '07 350z Nismo. i agree with the others that it will not yield much HP, but the sound and throttle response is better. -- just my thoughts.
