i need to do it too....

im guessing its a problem with compression cuz thats my situation...

compression is below was it should be....way below...even after carb cleaner...injector cleaner...and 2 seafoam sessions...still bad....all hoses are new and tight like a virgin, so its not an air leak...MAF is new and so is TPS

so last resort is head gasket....unless any one can think of anything else

well after i got the head off my ka sohc 2 of the pistons are shot and the head needs to be replaced so i think that was killing my compression but hay i got the car for 300 so puting a few grand in it is ok

a compression leak test is like where u put an air hose (using an adapter) in where the spark plug goes and put the motor in a compression stroke (all valves closed) and see where the air comes out ive never done it but the idea is if air comes out the cooling system or the side of the block its a bad head gasket and if it comes out of the crank case then its bad piston to block contact (like piston rings or pistons or scratched block) and if it comes out of the intake than its an intake valve and if it comes out of the exhaust its the exhaust valve im also gona try to give a like to pics of the intake i have more but these are the best.. http://utsa.facebook.com/photo...18772 or if you have myspace look t my pictures http://www.myspace.com/buhuan good luck

ps i want your car, ps gasket match ur intake
