sup guys, I'm at a stuck again, this time it's the wastegate.I'm not sure which one to get and will it fit the engine bay, this is for an S14 with RB25det swap, I'm getting a custom top mount turbo mani. w/GT3076R turbo, i'm not sure which one to get the Tial 44mm or the HKS 50mm, I know the hks sounds temping, but I heard about rust problems on the HKS, and the Tials are stainless steel... hmmm

has anyone used these 2 wastegates and was please with them??

Oh, also is 850cc fuel injectors way too much??? for 450~500+hp???Thanks for reading and any reply would help out, Thanks

Tial 44mm V-Band! Allows you to mount it 360 degrees. The HKS unit is awsome but the housing will rust over time. Other than that the HKS price is a little steep. I say Tial for the win.

I've used the tial 38mm wastegate on two of my cars and they are really good quality. The 44mm v-band wastegate is pretty sick. I would go with the tial.

The injectors will be fine. They would only need to run roughly 70% duty cycle to reach your power goals.

Yeah cause with HKS you pay for the name first quailty second. Dont get me wrong they make great parts buy TiAL is a little better in the W/G dept.

the hks 50mm is too big imho a standard hks gate would have done it.hks is pricy but ive NEVER heard of a hks gate failing...take that as you will.

The HKS wastegate is actually smaller than it is really listed. The 40mm is actually only 38mm.

I would also go with the Tial because replacement parts for it is cheaper as well. Flanges/digprhagm from HKS are expensive and kinda "hard" to get.

But to say the least, Im running a HKS wastegate because my manifolds requires it.

Right on IronMonkey just like Carl has a HKS Mani and W/G. But for those w/o HKS mani's I'd say TiAL. They are very easy to deal with too when It comes to damaged parts cause wastegates are their specialty. I've never heard of any negativity coming from the TiAL side in their defense against HKS. But then again every car HKS builds that touches the track breaks a record or gets banned after its first race...
