I have a 1992 240SX and I have the stock KA24DE motor in it right now. I am wanting to swap it over to the SR20. I need to know what transmission I will need, whether or not a KA manual transmission will work or a KA auto transmission, or is there a specific SR20 transmission......Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can use the KA transmission but you NEED the SR BELLHOUSING.....Why go through the trouble of doing all that when you can just use the SR transmission?

Umm yeah unless the motor doesn't come with a trany which in that case your still going to need an sr trany no matter what. so to save you sometime and trouble buy a full motor set and use the stock trany.
