Hey ladies and gents this is my first time ever joining a discussion board and I need some help. First off I just bought a 2010 red Altima 3.5 se. my first car!!! and I have to say, I love this car. now hear is the problem I love the stillen facias front bumper and the grille that comes with it but with the 2010 coupe they made changes with the hood and front bumper and if I get the front facias bumper 2010 model I wont get the front grille. now I was already going to buy a CF hood for the car as well. now the question is could I fit a 2009 CF hood and a 2009 stillen bumper and would they fit perfectly or am I just kidding myself. please help or give me adive on what should I do thank you for taking your time

As far as I know, I believe the 2008-09 model and the 2010-12 model have a completely different front face (exterior body panels).
Now, I know it is possible to covert one to the other but you would have to replace the hood, front bumper, AND the headlights and fenders and probably the wheel well and other underbody panels. It is possible but it would most likely need some professional body work to make sure the new parts fit perfectly and not to mention the ridiculously high prices of the parts and paint.

I've heard that turbo'ing a CVT is dangerous and risky especially if you really want to get a lot of power from it and if the CVT does break after the turbo, I imagine it would not be covered by warranty and would be again pretty pricey, on top of the actual turbo system and tuning which is also expensive depending on the tuning shop you choose and how properly they do it.

regarding the grille, I haven't seen many aftermarket grilles that actually look good other than the one on my stillen front fascia but that's molded into the bumper so I can't really do anything about that, and on the stock bumper, my favorite would be the c-mod grille.

My Stillen bumper has heavy damage so I'm planning on getting a new OEM bumper with the c-mod grille and doing a white/black two tone paint job. From a couple of body shops I've asked around, getting my bumper professionally painted to match my car would cost $250-300 on average. Hope that helps give you a scale on how much the whole thing might cost. good luck :mike

from what I've found online when I was searching for a replacement for my own, the only decent looking one was the Stillen and as for grilles, all the other ones looked like cheap, ghetto, chrome. Here's a link of an overview of what is available for the coupe except the stillen. http://www.carid.com/2008-nissan-altima ... body-kits/
