Need help with G37x coupe car buying advice

I am currently shopping for a used infiniti G37x coupe. I want something with about 30,000 miles and max of 25k. I am looking at 2009-2011s. I have never bought a car myself and was wondering if there was anything i should avoid when looking at cars and specific things to look for on the G37 that are common issues with the car. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you

You're looking at a great set of years for the car. Perhaps the biggest single source of complaints and controversy in the 2008-2011 year range is the 7 speed auto and whether it has a terrible problem with stomp-throttle lag and harsh downshifts.

There have been several flash updates for the transmission software. I have the latest on my 2011 and I'm quite pleased with how it operates. There are others who aren't so happy.
