1st off I been gone for awhile after I got rid of my 06 m45, but I stood in the Nissan fam I had an 09 370z n then traded that in to come back to an m35x 09.

Ok now here are my questions
Cold air intake I cant find any ( its the dual intake)
Exhaust which one is good for the M35X( on the 06 M45 I had Megan racing cat back loved the sound output)
And last thing to lower what is suggested?

All and any help is appreciated thanks

r2c intakes are pretty darn good and sleek
exhaust everyone seems to favor megan - price and sound seems to be the hitter - but kinda hard to come by ( i believe there are some for sale in the classifieds)
coilvers - D2 racing seems to be the favor here but BC coils are coming up - there is also a D2 DIY listed

INTAKE-Are the R2C intake dual intake bc my care is dual
EXHAUST- thanks I wll take a look in the classifieds
Coilover- D2 racing or BC coils what else would I need, reason i ask is bc i had my old M45 lower on tein gold springs and the stock specs were of i had uneven wear of tires.

Not sure it's the same kit but it is the same set up, check/post a question to RED_DET with the Intake thread he usually responds very quickly!! I got it for my M45 and most likely will get the set up for the G soon... I was really happy with R2C!! :dblthumb:

did you use a camber kit and spacers? for the tein? that might help with the wear on the tires, but i haven't heard anyone else have problems unless the dropped it really low... but that just loses ride quality. unless you are on air of course

So I went out and measured the tips of the stock exhaust and they look to be 2.5 in same specs as the Megans.
Question for those who own the Megan exhaust, are the tips bigger than the stock? They do look bigger in the picture.

for sure, I'm gonna pull trigger on Megan, was thinking about some Magnaflow 3" tips but too much hassle for custom welding.
Megan direct bolt on! Thanks 06M4.5

I too would like to find a nice HQ cold air intake to replace OEM...I was thinking the JWT popchargers would be nice on the M35s.

Per the mfg'ers website it is a fit for the engine (VQ35HR), but not our model car....

Lol, that surely shows it all. I think I too should base my knowledge off of youtube videos. What happens in such tests is that nobody tunes ecu accordingly to the intake (sri, cai) so basically no matter what they put on, maf will read as if there was a stock airbox or worse. I dont believe that stock airbox gets in more air than cone filter. Colder air ?! Maybe due to its covers and heat blocks but maybe. If they tuned the car for proper A/F mix ratios I bet you the gains would be higher !

Recently I've seen that my temperature gauge while driving will rise up close to the H and go back to the middle in a matter of minutes. I spoke to a friend, and he said most likely I have to bleed the cooling system, since there is most likely air in the system. Can anybody help me out here and let me know how exactly I can get that done? Or if anyone has experienced this problem with their M35 pleaseeeee let me know what was needed in order to fix the problem????

Well here is my thoughts on some CAI's. They are problematic for what gains they provide. First the filter must sit closer to the ground. If you have minor flooding don't drive the car
Second to install the bloody thing and keep it clean you have to remove (at the least) the wheel liner to get to the filter. Seriously?!
Thirdly the oil based filters are known to gum up MAF sensors over time. No thanks.
And fourthly show me dyno evidence with a car that was tuned and CAI added where only the CAI added the HP claimed on the manufacturers website? I expect to see numbers around 1HP gain.
Although in this video they do cover their butts by hinting that these results are based on just performing this one mod. By combining mods there are possibly some gains to be made.
