Need Help

New to the forum, love all the great information so far. I recently purchased a 1995 J30 at auction for my stepdaughter and want to fix a few things before I give her her first car. The horn doesn't work, relay? or wiring? how do I determine? On a related question, I think the drivers airbag was deployed and not reinstalled--squishy steering wheel, is that why the horn doesn't work? I'm pretty handy, is that something I can do myself? Anyone have any knowledge of any write-ups on removal of the rear bumper fascia? I would like to remove it for repaint. There is a small (dime-sized) rectangular hole in the dash below and to the right of the steering wheel. Any ideas about what was there? Lastly, know where I could find a new seal for the sunroof and two stock hub covers for the original wheels? Sorry about the laundry list, any and all advice would be much appreciated, fun car to drive and work on!

welcome. i can agree with the first part, but not the second. there are some very knowledgeable folks here, i hope you get the answers you need.

See if there is voltage to the horn when somebody is activating it, Then trace it back from there.
Check the Fuse ?
Not sure on the airbag but I would definitely find out before your kid drives it !!

This is kind of a Pain in the A$$ replacement. You will have to take down the headliner partially. Allocate a few hours.

Thanks for the parts link Driver, I'm sure to spend way too much money there as I find more stuff to do to this car. Thanks for the TSB on the sunroof fix Yoda--I've just been blown away by all the incredible literature available in this forum, it's all so easy to follow with everyone's insight. Hopefully I'll be able to pay it back during the fix up of this J30!
