You should be able to spell just a bit better. If it's connected, and your turning the wheel you should see a slight angle change.

lol. by yourself it pretty difficult to turn the wheel and stare at your rear wheels.

sorry bout the spelling i text to much, but i had some one hold the wheel wile doing 60mph round a turn an i could not tell if it turned. but the hicas light has not came on

Its power steering, engine needs to be on
