I just got my old 1998 Nissan Pathfinder LE back. New leather for the seats, all the dings and dents out the body. Fixed the motor and everything, so its basically brand new. Anyways, tomorrow I'm taking it to a car audio shop and they are putting in a CD player and two 10" Kicker subwoofers in it. Also, what else can I do to modify the car? Its not 4 wheel drive and its an automatic. I thought about getting a brush guard for it but someone said that it would be stupid because the car isn't 4 wheel drive.
I just want ideas to modify it so I can start putting money into "my good ol' Pathy".

Firstly, welcome to NICO!
What kind of look are you going for? Urban aggressive? Lifted off-roader (you can still do that with 2WD, it just won't be as functional)? City cruiser? The market for aftermarket products for the first gen R50's is fleeting pretty quickly and there isn't too much to choose from. I have noticed that it's easy to find chrome accents for the early R50's.
Of course there are the universal upgrades like the sound system (which you can check off the list), wheels & tires, tinting, etc.
It really depends on your taste and what kind of look you're going for.

I really don't know, just want it to look good. Is there a site that sells parts for Pathfinder's? I'm trying to get the plastic panels on the driver and passanger front, the "woodgrain" is peeling off and is now orange. I'm trying to replace them.

if you dont know, dont do anything.... look around at stuff and see stuff you lke and imagine it... dont throw random crap on it and expect it to look good cuz then youre wasting money...... take your time with this kind of stuff or its just money, time, and effort out the window....Voski wrote:I really don't know, just want it to look good. theres thread somewhere where all the guys have put up a list of what they've done. sound is a universal thing and a given, tail lights alot of guys have changed, i have smoked altezzas on white truck which i think is absolutely outstanding. head light housings, HID conversions... rims (which is expensive) hell you can lift or drop you truck, put an exhaust, do something like me and put underglows, some people may not like it but i like mine. anything you can think of imagine it. like it, do it. dont ask us what will look good because what we think may look good you may think looks like s***
