Hey guys I'm new to nico and I am currently in the process of doing my rb20 swap. Got a really good deal on the motor but problem is the motor set came with a rb26 turbo instead of the rb20. Is there anyway to make the rb26 turbo work on a rb20? Any suggestions? Me and brother is doing the swap and was baffled when we got the rb26 turbo so if anyone can help I would really appreciate it!!! Thanks!!!!

no, rb26 turbos are t2 footprint while the rb20 has a t3 footprint on the manifold.gonna be a huge headache to make it work and even then the turbo is too small for the engine.

If its the exhaust wheel, no. Most RB turbos have ceramic exhaust wheels and they are part of the turbo's shaft.

A turbo rebuilder might be able to get a new shaft and wheel. I have a stock rb20 turbo that has a chipped exhaust wheel but im missing some of the internal small parts.

Dang so im screwed then. That sucks guess I have to sell the turbo then and try to find another turbo. Maybe I'll be lucky and be able to trade it or something. Its a clean turbo no shaft play or anything oh well I guess..
