i have a 1984 nissan 200sx(s12) with aca20de and would like to swap it for a ca18det or 1984 gezelle(austrilian model)engine. does anyone know where i can find these engines. iv tried localy but no one hase either :help

How about a 155hp KA24DE swap? Much more common than an CA18DET or FJ20ET. Also much cheaper. The FJ will be impossible to find and do so forget that. THe CA may be found if you look for suppliers in the CA section, but it may be a pain in the *** because its so old.

Also there are quite a few mods for the KA including turbos.

do you know if the ka will mount to the transmission ihave or will i have to change it, my car is rwd...

the KA I'm talking about came in the 240sx. You may need to swap the 5speed from a 240 into there to?

If you check the CA section there is a guy there who's username is Bizz and I believe he is working on swapping a CA18DET into his S12. Also as a bonus for you he is also located in Vancouver, WA.
