I purchased an 84 nissan 4x4 pickup a few weeks ago and now i am having problems, sometimes when i drive the truck it seems to loose all power. I can push the pedal to the floor and nothig happens. I let off the pedal for a few seconds the i can go again for a mile or so. I have change: in-line fuel filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap, and ignition rotor. I am lost i ahve no idea what it is.

Catalytic converters do that when they're clogged. Its weird. I'm not the f***ing guru of this s***, but it could be your problem. Take it off and drive the truck a bit(yes, it will be loud), if it still f***s up, you know its something else.
