I have a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 and as most of you know, the front is jacked up fairly high compared to the back. I recently put on some 18"s and the front and back height is even more noticeably different. I was wondering if I could just put in a 1.4" spring in the front only and not in the back? Would my stock struts be able to handle a 1.4" drop and how would the overall drive be since the stiffness will be different in the front compared to the back?

Check this out. Eibach pro kit springs: lower the front 1.3" and 1.3" the back.It is not wise to change only the front springs, you should change the front and the back. You can use the stock struts and shocks. The ride will be very equivalent to stock springs.
