Ok, its winter time and as you expect it gets really cold outside. My car is kept in the garage nice and warm though, but I am having problems with the battery. I havent started the car for about 2 weeks, and the battery died. So I was like, no big deal, and I jumpstarted it with my mom's QX4. (The car hasnt been started cause its not licensed since I am only 15 and cant drive). So one week later, the car is dead again. I dont know why this is happeneing, since before the 2 week period, I used to start it every Friday. There is nothing turned on in the car, no seat warmers, neons, lights, or anything in the cigarette lighter. The car has a brand new alternator.

Take the battery out and go have it tested. Most places will do it for free.Autozone, Napa ect.

Even new if it drains completely it take awhile to fully recharge.Just idling for 5 or 10 minutes wont do.

-- That statement explains alot, lol. They don't ask for a driver's liscence to get plates & tags here, IDK about where you are. Hopefully it's just your battery that's giving you trouble, anyway my best advice to you is chill, just chill out, you'll be driving it soon enough. I can remember salivating over my '91 Accord se that I aquired as a 15 year old lad in 1997. Anyways, just save up some bux for all the stuff you'll need that you don't think of like tax, title, liscence, routine maintenance, etc. A wiser man than myself once taught me K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid) it's great advice, you should cherish it. Now let's see what atrocities you've committed by painting engine components, I kid, I kid. Awesome first car, be careful in bad weather, and for god sakes man, resize that siggy.

next time you get your car jumped and running again turn it off and check for a noise under the hood near the firewall passenger side. If its there it will be coming from a black box, (ABS) just hit it with your knuckles pretty good and it should stop (dont ask). if thats the case then you should get a new ABS relay. This has been the reason for my battery going dead many times back in the day. Hope this helps!

have your dad drive the car for about 15-20 minutes, this will alow the alternator to fully charge your battery, like previously stated, idling in your driveway is not enough time to do this.
