hi, well i got a set of 18inch wheels and i need help picking out the tire size. 235-45-18 or 225-45-18. i have 235-50-18 on there now and they are balloons and they rub in the back but i like the width. some pics of your cars would help.thx

depends on width of rims. if you're runnin 7's put 225 45, if they're 8's put 235 45. also depends on if you're lowered. if so, go with 40 series.

If your Stock tire size = 225/50/17, then your overall tire diameter (tire height) = 25.85 in.

The 235/50/18 tires you have now give you an overall tire diameter = 27.25 in., which results in the following:

Speedometer Difference: 5.410% too slowDiameter Difference: 5.14%

The 235/45/18 tires will give you an overall tire diameter = 26.32 in., which will result in the following:

Speedometer Difference: 1.822% too slowDiameter Difference: 1.79%

The 225/45/18 tires will give you an overall tire diameter = 25.97 in., which will result in the following:

Speedometer Difference: 0.461% too slowDiameter Difference: 0.47%

Since you should stick to as close to the same tire diameter as your stock tires provide, I'd go with the 225/45/18 if I were you ...
