Heres my problem. Ive got an 89 240sx with sohc motor in it. its ran great up to the last 3 days. lately when i go to start my car its taking longer to start. It cranks but doent turn over, but if i go to crank it again right away it starts right up. I thought i might have a leaking injector but i havent had time to work on it since we been having crapy weather here. Also when the car is running if i touch th injector harnesses it starts to miss fire then corrects itself. im just wondering if anyone has had this problem and has any ideas on what to do. im new to the nissan world and i have tried to search too.

are you smelling fuel? is the car blowing any smoke? Is the gas mileage really bad?

you could have a bad injector(s). Your wiring could be coming loose or corroded in some way. you could have bad injector seals. that is the way my stanza used to act upon cold starts with leaking injectores. It didnt want to stay on wen it was cold, but started right up in the warm air.

i get about 200 miles to a full tank. i havent smelled any gas or anything but i went out today and i started on the first try. like i said im new to nissans is it common for this car to have this problem. I know it has a new feul pump so it couldn't be that going bad.
