I have a 98 Infinity I30 and driving in the city is perfectly fine. But, after getting off the freeway, or highway, when I step on the gas again, huge amount of smoke would come out from the exhaust. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem, and what to do to fix it? Thanks.

Welcome to NICO!

What color is the smoke? If it has a bluish color to it, it's a sign that your motor is burning oil. How often do you check your oil? Does your car consume oil faster than is normal (do you have to add oil between oil/filter changes)?

The smoke is in a white color and I check my oil almost every week and yes, I do have to add oil in between my oil/filter change.
