Well I decided to upgrade my turbo setup, because the turbo I was runnign was just too small. I was running a volvo td04-15G turbo and was running in the 60's in efficiancy and could feel it in the upper rpms. Well so I went to a T3/T04e 57 trim turbo. I got a really good deal on it so thats why a 57 Trim .63 A/R Turbine .60 A/R Compressor. Well I thought it would just bolt on and I would have to change up the sacf2, but I guess not. Well the problem I'm having is that at very low throttle opening like 8-14% the car runnis reall rich and stumbles all over the place. Its almost like its not getting enough air. It has to be turbo related because all I changed was the turbo. I running the T3/T4 with a T3 waste gate and the outlet on that waste gate is like 2.5" but the way they designed it I had to use a 2.25" pipe so I could get the bolts in. Then it goes to 2.5" down pipe and then to three inch all the way out to the back. I have no mufflers or cat. I was thinking , could the small pipe cause to much restriction that it would affect the cruzing airfuel numbers? It is fine when I get into the throttle. I have no problems there, and its fine when I am at idel. So anyone have any sugestions. I really need this to work by the end of the weekend, or I'm putting the other turbo back on. I have to go to the Datsun shasta meeting next weekend. Any help is apreciated. thanks
