i just swaped my ca, and left it at 0.4 bar. and today i turned up the boost to see how it will fill. i turned it up to 1.5 bar and felt like 0.4bar. i dont get it at all?? on my old ca i ran 0.9 bar and the car fe lt WAY faster on 0.9 bar then on 1.5 bar.

Could it be the timing on the car is way OFF. cuz i did not mess with the timing when i swaped in it. what is stock timing??? and where should i put it???

here is what i got thanksgtri t28450ccz32maffmicturbo back exchiped ecuand all the other stuff.

thanks for your help.

looking at your motor, your timing marks read, -5,0,5,10,15,20 and yes like they said, set it at 15

WRONG!!! It's 15 degrees for the CA18DE, it's 10 degrees for the CA18DET read the FAQ a little closer.

BUT, I don't know that the extra 5 degrees would cause that much problem as long as you're not detonating.

I dunno... 1.5 bar is like 22psi. First off, thats past the efficiency of the turbo so all you are doing is pumping hot air. Second, you are most likely detonating and the timing is being retarded to hell and back. 22 psi on 93 = on a T28. Really should only go to 18psi(ish) max.

Stock timing for the DET and DE is 15 degrees. The FAQ is a misprint, I had a big thread about this a few months ago trying to figure out if it was 10 or 15 degrees. Check the FSM, your timing should be at 15 degrees.
