i have a 1992 Nissan truck its just a standerd run of the mill 4 cyl 5 speedwell anyways when i go to start it i get juice in the battery to run lights radio etc, but the only way it will go if i pop the clutch which i know will ruin the transmission.my question is what can be causing this and what do i need to fix it cause i had the starter tested and ended up replacing the cellinod (sorry for spelling) and replaced the starter and main relay switch on it thanks for your time

It is very possible that you have enough juice in the battery to turn on the lights and some other accessories, but not enough to turn the starter. Have you tested the battery itself?

Exactly. If this happens every time you start the car, it may be alternator related (assuming the case is as repo suggested). Watch the battery light when you drive: does it fade in and out, depending on rpms/load? If it does, it's almost certainly the alternator. (That's all exactly what happened to me every time an alternator's gone out on me.)

I was thinking the starter might be goofed too...
