Well as the title states, thats my current problem. When I put the key to "on" my ALT 75A fuse blows as I connect the battery terminals. I did a search on the ALT fuse blowing. All I found out was to make sure the ALT isn't grounded to the starter, to check for continuity...I haven't done these yet but will tomarrow when I get to work on the car again. I'm almost positive I have all the grounds correct. I did all the wire splicing according to heavy throttle's page. There was one question I had though...when I have to splice near the under hood fuse box, it says splice a brown wire to "any 12V constant power." A friend told me I can splice into the other brown wire but there are 2!!! Does anyone know which one to splice into or another one to splice into? Also I have no clutch sensor " the one that let you start your car when you push the clutch all the way down. Also the blue box near the fuse box is not plugged in. Does this have to be plugged in? Please help!!! I am aggravated as I have been working on getting this beast started for the first time!

I have had the same problem with my alternator fuse. The problem with mine was I had a short in the lower harness wires that was causing it to blow. What I did was inspect the complete lower harness and found the short.

Hope this helps
