Hi Guys,

I've been searching forever, and can't find out how to change the spoiler-mounted brake bulbs, and how many bulbs are actually in the assembly. Secondly, would using L.E.D.'s work for this, or am I just asking for sensor problems?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

On the older G50, one just pushes with both thumbs on the ends of the lens and it pops out. Sylvania LL or OEM bulbs only.

Have you not downloaded the FSM yet? :nono:

It is time members STOP recommending "sylvania long life bulbs" as they are NO LONGER a high quality product, but rebranded chinese/taiwanese made junk, just like most of the other "over the counter" choices......years ago, they were a quality recommended product....not any longer!

Not all Sylvania bulbs are China/Taiwan made... You've got to pay attention though; the packaging usually indicates country of origin.

I remember noticing quite a variety of "product of" locations last time I was checking out bulbs at Canadian Tire. Plenty of Chinese made stuff, but I definitely seem to recall seeing Japanese and even Hungarian manufactured bulbs and I would not be surprised if there some made in Canada or the US if I looked for 'em.
