gotta 86' Nissan compact truck it has a four cylinder carburated engine and i need to know what u can do for performance i need some more horse power in my lil beeter thanks

Engine swap would probly be your best bet. I know thats a big undertaking, but if you really like the truck it would be worth it. I wanted to buy an 85 Nissan and swap in an SR. I love those little boxy trucks. Good luck.

Yeah should be the Z24 in an 86 model. Not much you can do with it that I know of, but a KA24E should bolt right in, or go with the SR20 idea

swap in an LD20T. we have one in our parts shop. as well as some RB20's. and VQ25's....and SR20DE's...and big diesel turbo engines from Terrano's and JDM Pathfinders.

eh..he's got one in Datsun too...

the truck has an electronically controlled carburator and is a Z24.
