need help .. smoking badly

i got an 03 spec v .. cat went out on me, is it possible the stuff in the pre-cat got in my engine and messed it up? i parked it until new exhaust came in so i wouldnt mess the car up. got completed and drove and its smoking really bad and burning a mess of oil up. and because it burning so much oil, it started knocking because it got real low and i didnt know .. can anyone help me? this is the 3rd forum ive been on now

That sounds like something that you'll have to get looked at by someone locally. Its tough for someone on the internet to diagnose all that stuff.
What color is the smoke? Is it coming out of the exhaust?

Could be a possibility, the cat material destroys piston rings....do a compression test.
