Ok I just swapped in my s13 sr to my s13 when I'm boosting I will be pushing a little more than half throttle and around 4k or so the rpms will just shoot from 4 to almost redline real fast but I won't speed up I think it could be my clutch slipping I have an exedy pressure plate with a stock sr disk the clutch has been bled and everything but I'm still having the same problem any suggestions?

yea sounds like a clutch. does it smell??? does it do it all the time or only when you first start driving it in the day?? have you tried to get it sideways quick by dumping it?? if it is the disk, than you more than likely would not be able to get it sideways from a dead stop. try doing some things like i listed and keep us posted.

Its the clutch. Best bet is a new PP and Disk. I recommend an Exedy Stage II

I am pretty sure its the clutch because as soon as I give it full throttle it will just start boosting real good then around 4 it will slip and the rpms will shoot over to like 7 unless I shift or let off the gas.

I originally bought an exedy stage 1 clutch but the disk didnt fit on my transmission but the pressure plate did and since I was short on time and cash at the time I couldnt order another one so I went and got a stock sr clutch disk so I have an exedy pressure plate with a stock sr clutch disk this is also why I think the clutch is slipping so badly.
