Backing into my narrow driveway I cracked my drivers mirror. I found a replacement on Ebay but would like to get help on replacing this mirror. Is this a fairly simple job? The used one I purchased is the same color so I want to remove it all and replace it the whole entire mirror. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

I have not changed one on an Infiniti, but i have repalced a few mirrors on other models. It is an easy job once you get the door panel off (the hardest part). There are two or three studs on the mirror mount that protrude through the door skin/panel so you need to remove those nuts and then just unplug the electrical connector. Window needs to be in up position (at least on the models I worked on) to give you enough room to get your hand in there.

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

•When removing, always use a remover tool that is made of plastic.
•Be careful not to scratch door mirror body.
1.Remove front door finisher. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk\Front Door Panel\Service and Repair\Front Door Finisher.
2.Remove front door sash inner cover. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk\Front Door Panel\Service and Repair\Front Door Sash Inner Cover.
3.Disconnect door mirror assembly harness connector.
4.Remove door mirror assembly mounting nuts, and then remove door mirror assembly.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Thanks M37!! I am a little nervous at the idea of removing the door panel but lets see. Hopefully I can put it all back once completed. Thanks again!
