OKI just got me a WALBRO GSS341 Fuel Pump.

Anyway I got a 1990 S13/240sx Coupe. (5 speed if it matter). I took the top cover off in the trunk but there is still bolts where the pump is.

So here is my Question do i need to drop my Fuel Tank to change my Fuel Pump or can I do it from inside the trunk.

:help :help

And There is alot of Dirt on top of the cover can I somewhat spay water on top of it or use a wet tower to clean it off? :help :help

And If someone got Step By Step instration it would help alot. And alot of thankfullness from me if you do have it!

Regardless, you can do it from the trunk. Just unbolt it and pull it up.

The hardest part about this job is getting the o-ring to stay in place while you're putting the pump assembly back down. Either that or reconnecting the fuel lines back up.... hmmm.

Force it...thats my only advice, try shoving a small flathead screwdriver up under the rubber fuel line to break it loose from the hard line.

It might crack it, but force is the only way to get it off.

Another way is to bring out a hairdryer with an extension cord and heat them up a little bit. That should expand them and make them a little easier to pull off.
