I looked up how to remove the interior fabric but i soon found out that its hard as s*** to get off. I searched for quite a bit on any info but no luck even in the FAQ. Can someone show me or help understand what i need to do?

I have the grey tweed and it is not trying to come off. In the process of doing upholstery work using black thin vinyl so i need all of it off ASAP.

Unfortunately, The fabric isn't removable from the convertible door panels. If you spend a lot of time with a wire brush, it may come off, but its easier just to get coupe doors/panels.

I found that using a heat gun moderately you could slowly get a square inch off within 5 min. eventually the plastic or fiberglass heats up so i needed to ease off and take a break. It seems like if i burn it enough i will eventually be able sand it off, anyone done this before?

I think one member has done it using a wire brush and a lot of time. But its much easier to do to coupe door swap, since thats something that usually needs to be done anyway

the best thing to do is to wet the door panel with thinner then put it inside a plastic bag and seal it .it has to be wet real wet .give it like 30 minutes and it will do the trick.just for 10 us.
