Hey, my friend is having problems with his SR and needs some help.\/ \/ \/

Guys I still have this problem and i just bought my walbro. After a while it now dumps fuel. I am so lost I am about to sell this lemon of mine. The car breaks up and falls flat when flooring it. But if u lightly gas it will clear up. At idle my maf is putting out about 1.7 volts. Is this right come guys plz I gotta get this car running. I haven't boosted in 2 weeks. Things i have done.1.Pulled fuel rail crank over car fuel injectors are pulsing also check with a stephescope while running to check none of the injectors are stuck open.2 Changed plugs with ngk power plugs.3 switched out fpr and mass air flow.4. changed about 3 or 4 different pumps.Changed CAS and adjusted to 15 degrees.took reading off the mass air flow voltage is between 1.7 to 4.50 5. checked tps.6.Check voltage to the pump7.Checked all grounds8.The only thing i have not done is switch out the ecu.9. by passed all vacuum lines except for fpr to make sure no vacuum leaks.10.Check all boost piping up and down.I think thats about it. any suggestion wud be appreciated i have spent close to 400 bucks tryin

How's the condition of the wastegate? Double check your vacuum lines too.

are you having the same problem right now with that new maf as you were with the old one? it sounds like the maf is your problem because the voltage at idle does not matter with the maf. you should have a constant 12v signal from your power wire (the black wire with a white stripe) and a constant 5v signal from your other wire (the white wire) the other is a ground (black wire) obviously your 1.7volts is not matching up anywhere close to what it should. im curious to know if you were getting 1.7v with your other maf as well. what maf are you running? stock sr or z32..are you absolutely sure its wired correctly? also do this...look at the back of your ecu and you will see the screw where you check for codes and a l.e.d. turn your key on and that l.e.d. should come on. now start your engine...if that l.e.d. does not go off then you have a bad ecu. if it does go off then your ecu is a ok and you should move on from there and check for codes. also what is your tps voltage at idle?

funny story...i was having the same problem with the turbo not boosting...good thing i caught this before i changed out all these parts...it ended up being something simple...the rod that comes off the waste gate came off of where it connects to (**dont know what its called**) what ever its called the waste gate rod became disconnected...dont look over the simple things...just incase take a look.

^ the actuator...yes it does seem like if your turbo was not boosting it would be something with the turbo itself and nothing else...any smoke coming out of the tailpipe?

The Ecu was the problem, says it was most likely sending out bad signals. Thanks for the help guys.
