sry guys i hate to ask stupid questions but im stumped. the problem: i cant get the relays next to the ecu to turn on, witht the white and purple wire not hooked up i have 12vs going through it? i dont get it. the front two relays turn on but when i tap the power from the 30 amp ign switch fuse the ecu relays wont turn on.also i tested the relay connections, grounded outside the car they read fine, but when i used the grounds on the connection i read only 4v

ive look for all the grounds and non of them are un hooked, the only wires that are hiiked up are the white/black- red and the black/red and black/red

also i used an sr20 lower harness that has been modifyed to work witht the ka fuse box

anyone that can help would be awsome thanks

EFI harness might be wacked, check your wiring there. Who did the harness?

Hi, Im working on the RB20 wiring along with andy.

We have (as per Carl H's instructions) the purple/white wire spliced into the white ignition fusebox wire. This gives us +12V, fo course. All others are connected to their corresponding wires, again as per Carl H.

The black/white and the purple/white now read a constant +12V.

The orange ignition signal wire is confusing me now. It reads +12V at run/start positin as it should, but I don't know where they go.There are two orange wires from the relays by the ecu, that join together and seem to conenct at the ecu. (the wire was cut)On other wright-ups we are told to connect the orange wire from the KA dash harness to the orange wire on the ecu. We are told this is the igniton signal wire which tells the ecu to run the ignition. Do so leaves the relays with out that signal wire, unles they too are to be spliced into the same wiring.

We are stumped and have rewired it all the different available ways but to no avail. We have not found any odly gorunded or broken wires yet and we have torn apart 80% of the harness. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
