Ewww what??

Stillen for the G is pure sex!! Unless your looking for a ricey exhaust sound... then the Stillen is not a good choice.

I had the Greddy EVO 2 catback put in today

And, well......... I FREAKING LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!! It's on my sedan, so it's a single can, but man, it's a big deep muffler, and it's nicely tucked under the rear bumper...

Anyway, Beencooker just did an install on his coupe, you should search around...

Also, I am extremely satisfied with the results, It seems to definately have more power, and the sound just really came to life now, the intake alone was not enough for me either... I had to sound better at the track this summer

If you have 1500, that's a bit more than I had to play with... I think you should do a search on here for exhaust sound clips.... ZOZO posted a wicked thread a few weeks back with sound clips of every exhaust on the market for G35s.

Good luck in your hunt, either way, it will feel like a whole year waiting for the parts to arrive, PROMISE, oh sorry about the ALL CAPS... lol

I think you'll see more happy endings from gf when you can demonstrate that you are financially secure

I'm with Telcoman that you should save the money for rainy days and retirement... The kid in me though says to get a Stillen if you're going to spend the money! Or maybe you could spend the money to buy a program from the video professor on how to not type in all CAPS...

however Telco, I earned less than 1% on my 401K last year so I'm thinking that a wiser investment may be a can under the mattress if this market keeps going the way it has!

LOL

You were too young to remember the market bottom in 1982 but it turned quickly and soared as we came out of a period of high inflation and the oil shortage & gas lines in the late 1970'sThe market and our entire way of life is going to correct for this huge run up in oil prices. An eventual peace treaty announcement in the middle east, a reduction in fighting in Iraq, a reduction in oil prices are possible events that can send the market and 401k plans soaring. You need to be a part of it so you can afford the next G 69

Oh and don't forget a new president.

You are out of your mind brother!! It is so far from Rice. What kind of car did you hear it on?

I get nothing but compliments consistantly on my exhaust.

I didn't want to chime in on this because everybody thinks I'm negative, but my friend at Riverside Infiniti was consulted regarding an exhaust for my coupe and he said to stay away from the Stillen because it promotes the same whine that the stock system has.

His creds:

He sells this stuff every day

He's gone through at least 5 exhaust systems on his turboed 350Z.

At idle... it's VERY similar to stock. When you punch it, HUGE difference in sound with a nice grumble. Nothing rice about it. Certainly does not sound like a bumble bee on speed.

What's wrong with a bumble bee on speed? Those little suckers can pollinate an acre field in 6.3 seconds!!!

I've heard the same from friends who work at Infiniti. Also I heard a couple of G35s come to the dealership with stillen cat-backs on and I hated the sound, as I said, IMO. If you like the sound then power to you.

I need to check my exhaust out. It rattles. But the power gains make me happy in the pants.
