HELP!!!I have a '93 J30 that I just bought about 2 weeks ago from a private owner. Changed all the belts (including timming), oil, filters, plugs immediately. Just pulled up in front of the house after driving in 98 degree NY weather with the AC on for about 2 hours of running around. Now after sitting for about an hour and a half the car wont start at all!! It will turn over for about a second then die out. WHATS WRONG????????

Check all fuses and fusible links, especially the ones for the ignition and the injectors. Fuel, compression, spark/timing are what the car needs. Check the spark/timing first. A timing light will give a good quick check of timing and #1 spark. Find/buy a gauge and check the fuel pressure. Get a noid light and make sure the injectors are firing too.

Sounds like fuel pump related...... It could be the fuse is burnt out.... Or the pump could be toast!

It's warm/hot over there. Vapor lock? Air in the fuel lines? Fuel filter clogged?

When I talked to the previous owner of my car, he said he had a problem like that...... it was a clogged fuel filter, which later led to the fuel pump dying!
