I'm new to the forum - thanks for being here!

My right front hub cap got bumped on a curb today and came loose. I am having some trouble putting it back on tightly. I have managed to get it back on but it feels a bit loose. Please respond with any suggestions and/or instructions on how to make it fit tightly.

Thanks.

Welcome to NicoClub!

As for the hubcap, take it fully off and look at the plastic clips that holed it in place. If some of them broke (like mine did) the hubcap wont stay on. If they aren't broken just go in a circle around the hub and try tapping it back into place.

Thanks CodeRed. Yes, none of them are broken but a few were bent. I bent them back and was able to install the hub cap back on. My concern is that it feels a bit loose. The other hub caps are so tight that I could not pull them off by hand (I don't think). But this hub cap, while relatively secure, could be pulled off by hand so I am trying to find out if there is anything else I can do to make it really tight.

Thanks again.

Epoxy/glue or something would work, but then you'll have issues getting it off when you need to. Otherwise, put it on, if it comes off buy another one. That's about all I can think of.

The problem with the OEM hubcaps is the flimsy mounting fingers. My dealer broke two 'caps doing a tire rotation & Sears broke another one doing a flat repair. I bought a set of 4 look-alike caps (411s) from AutoAmenity.com for less than $50. They are of much better quality than the Nissan caps and are available in chrome or silver finish.
