So today was strolling Facebook and saw a 300zx, I've always wanted a TT 300zx but the price was above what I had, anyways I contacted the lady and she said it's been sitting for about 5 years due to her engine builder who closed shop and took off with everything, so there's no engine or tranny, which to me wasn't a big deal, so told her I would be there asap to take a look.

Well there's some bubble rust nothing bad, underside is a spotless, she said when she was emerging. Working on it, it has all new suspension, been lowered, seat her son took, so needs seats, but has a bunch of Stillen parts that goes with the car, but the best part is it's a TT car 2 seater, all the turbo pipes are left.

But I have some questions. I'm a mopar guy I drive a hellcat. I don't know much about these cars to be honest. Oh it's a 91.

Do they have parts booksoke they do for the older muscle cars?
Looking for a complete motor where to start with that?
Also is there any place to stay away from. What do you guys 'n gals recommend?

But for now I'm as sure that's enough and I'll have more questions later. Thank you, and nice to meet you all.

You can find halfway decent runners for $5-10k all day long....you're gonna be into this thing probably a lot more than that by the time you hunt down all the parts you need....I'd keep looking myself.

We thought about that, but we're looking at this as a father n son project, we looked for a decent TT, let's just say all the ones he loves are so modified the cheapest was 18k, which money isn't the problem, I figure were going to have 10k plus when it's all done n said....

Unless you really have a desire to deal with rust walk away, there are plenty of decent shape shells and even NAs out there. I got my 2+0 with a jumped timing belt for $700, decent body and interior, NO RUST.
