Hi,

I want to buy an 2009/2010 Altima Coupe 2.5S Automatic, basic model...What did you pay for your car or what would be considered a great deal for this car including everything, all the fees, taxes (out the door deal)....I appreciate your help. Iam in Phoenix, any good dealers in here???

thanks

well it really depends on what year your getting the 10 is more expensive than the 09. I got the 09 2.5s basic package. Sticker price was 23,0145.......we dealed down up to 19,500 and then we used the cash for clunkers deal which took away 4500 which brings the retail down to 15k but after taxes and delivery charges, etc it was about 16k. Conssidering the 2010 already came out, you should pay no more than 19k for an 09 if u bargain

The price of the 10 isn't that much higher than the 09 and you get projector headlights ! I just went to see the car in person today and imo that thing is freakin sexy. The 09 is ok too...but once you see the 10 in person ..it's something else. I'm getting a 3.5 so my price will be diff.; however, the price of a new 2.5s stock was around 23k. It was around 31k FULLY loaded.

those saying the '09 is better than the '10. Go to a dealership and do a side by side comparison, u will see the difference. Gonna take pics of my '10 and hopefully post it up this weekend. If u want a great deal, go for the '09.

^-- What he said

Additionally, keep in mind that if you're hoping to do any external mods like body kits, fascia, etc., there will be more choices for the '08-'09 body style, since the headlights are a different shape for the '10 model. This means that the '10 front bumper, hood, etc., will be different, and '09 body mods are likely to have fitment issues on the front.

There's no telling when (if ever) the '10s will get aftermarket front fascia. We're still waiting for some of the newer front fascia for the '08-'09

So, if you're not planning on doing any exterior body modifications to your car, get the '10 (the standard features are better). But, if you are planning on modding the exterior to any degree, do yourself a favour and get the '09 for a bargain price … that is, if you can find one :\
