as for the losing power - without knowing anything about your car other than it's losing power like a fuel cut, have you tried pulling ecu codes? have you changed anything recently (i.e. fuel pump, injectors, fuel filter, type of gas you run, etc)?
Since it's a new rebuild, have you checked things again, such as compression, tps voltage, vacuum leaks, etc, etc.
I'd start w/ pulling ecu codes.
ok time to get this going again since winter is over almost and i didnt drive the car then.so when the car is just sitting there in the garage warmed up nice, the oil press will be like 26psi and when i stert driving it the oil press will be about the same, maybe like 24psi. but when i floor it lets say 1st and 2nd and then stop on a light or so the idle will drop to like 500rpm and rais back up and the oil press will be like at 16psi. i got the auto meter oil press gauge machanical.Anyone has any clue what this might couse for the oil press to be like that.I got standard size cosworth main and rod bearing if that helps. This one guy told me maybe the bearings are smalled then suppose to be and you loosing press there, does this sound right?Any help is greatly apprisiated...
Oh and like the guy said above check ECU codes. how am i suppose to check em if the check engine light is not on!
