NEED HELP PLEASE
Hey I need help I have 08 coupe with the V6 3.5L and when I start the car and for about a half an hour or so of driving a have a loud belt squeal but then it goes away until next start up I was thinking it was my seperentine belt but I want to make sure please help me

'08...how many miles do you have on your car? The noise is most likely your belt. Belts will make squealing noises as they age and are more pronounced at start up, when it's wet outside, and when it's cold outside. OEM belts are relatively inexpensive. Are you going to install the belt yourself or have a mechanic/dealer install it?

The noise you described is typical of an worn drive belt. The next time you start your car open the hood and have someone else start the car for you. So you can listen for and isolate where the sound is coming from. If the squealing noise begins...spray some belt lubricant on the belt to see if doing so makes the noise stop. If the noise stops you've identified the problem.
