need help please

hay guy i just did a tb belt and water pump on my ca it ran awesome for a day the it just back fired and died now it wont start i changed the plugs cuz they were socked with gas

ps timing is dead on i set the timing to 10 deg at first it was breaking up in high rpms so i set it to 15 deg..

please help im out of ideas

take ur cas off sounds like the tab broke..

if its ok take ur timing cover off and then report back

tab is that the half moon looking thing theres only 1 it looks like there sould b another one there its in side the cas

theres one on the cam and one in the cas.

theres one in the cam theres a line that lines up the cAS but theirs only 1 half moon ..the others suposed to b connected to the cam

the cas was like that before it drove fine all day i drove the car for four hours???? then the next day it just died.. help lol

there should be one in the cas and one on the cam to make a circle to work properly.

did u take the timing cover off yet?

Are you sure your cam timing is correct and not your ignition timing? If everything is spot-on, then you have issues with y our crank angle sensor or related compnents as suggested by zero.

yes timing cover is off timing is on on the both cams and the crank.does that mean seance that half moon piece is broken off the cam i need to replace the cam???

yes. if your ta is broken off your exhaust cam u need a new cam
